Copenhagen, Denmark From Bergen, Norway, we flew to Copenhagen, Denmark and spent parts of three days there. Copenhagen is a huge city that is quite different than Stockholm and Oslo. We enjoyed our tour and saw three important statues that will be shown below. We also had a very good (enclosed) bus tour, but it prevented me from taken very many photographs. The photos below do not do justice to the city, but it was the best I could do. |

The palace in Copenhagen is interesting in that it has four identical buildings around the square. This is the one in which the queen lives. Because the monarchy is so old, the monarch continues to play a minor role in Danish politics. |

This is the building at the palace where the crown prince lives. According to our guide, he has fallen in love with a girl from Tasmania, but it is supposed to be a secret. His mother, the queen, is 62, so it will be a while until he becomes king of Denmark. |
